Animals

On Tuesday, Tracie, Brooke and a few friends got a leg up on the snow and headed to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs. The highlight of the trip was feeding the giraffes with their Gene Simmonsesque lickers!

According to Tracie, Brooke enjoyed looking and pointing at all of the animals. It definitely won't be the last time we go, but we may wait until spring!
On Wednesday night, Tracie used Brooke as a 'model' for her Activity Day girls. Can you guess what she is trying to be? Suffice it to say, it didn't stay on for very long!

Saturday we met up with our friends Stephanie and Taylor Dix and went to the Pumpkin Fest at the Grange. Brooke enjoyed the hay ride with the horses. and the free toothbrush that she got.

Concluding our weekend, Jonathan came over again, and as is always the case, Brooke was in heaven. She enjoyed the special attention, the piggyback rides, and the one, two three!!!!

On Saturday, we also were able to attend the sealing of a couple in our ward. She has been a member most of her life, and he is a convert of one year. It was really great to be a part of it, especially when the kids came in at the end. My allergies were really kicking in!!

I must have "Wicked" on my mind - I went for the tin man from the Wizard of Oz.
Sealings always remind me of the ultimate gift of our Heavenly Father. No need to apologize for your allergies, Troy. Love you all
