This will probably be our last post before Christmas, so to those who we won't see this holiday season, have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. See the rest of you soon! Our early Christmas present was visiting the house and seeing that they had painted and added cabinets. We had yet to see the kitchen with the island, so it was cool to see how that would fit in. We also did a little decorating to make it feel a bit more festive around our apartment. We sprung for one of the biggest trees that they had at Lowe's. We feel that it is quite fitting. We didn't even need to pose Lexie for the Christmas picture. Robyn drove out to drop off her stuff, and spend a couple of days with us and her friend Emily. The highlight of their short trip was our time at Blossoms of Light at the Denver Botanical Gardens. The lights were cool, and we enjoyed the music from Evergreen High School, and the United Methodist Church. (Jesus is the light of the world, is the light of the world, is the light of the world!) You can buy these glasses that make all the lights look like snowmen or snowflakes. They are kind of cool to look through once, and might keep the kids entertained, but the lady in front of us was probably in her 50s, and she was wildly amused the entire time! She was much more entertaining than the glasess.
