...out like a lion

March lived up to its reputation on Tuesday and Wednesday. The snow started on Tuesday evening, and by Wednesday morning we had over a foot of heavy wet snow. Luckily I was able to work from home, and the power was only out for an hour or so.

Of course by Thursday it had melted off most of the streets, and this week temperatures should be in the 70s!

Brooke turned 20 months on Wednesday and has shown flashes of the terrible twos already. She's mostly a great kid, but every once in a while, like when you won't let her play with the camera, or turn on a 'moovie', she is slowly mastering the tantrum.

Good thing she's so cute that we can easily forgive her.

She's also quickly expanding her vocabulary. We had dinner on Thursday with Jonathan, Auntie Huong, and Jojo. Brooke was able to call Jonathan 'Coco', and to Jonathan's dismay, quickly started saying 'Jojo'.

That's obviously great that you could hang out with Jonathan's family. I definitely enjoyed it a month ago!

Ah the terrible twos! This is when the cuteness quotient starts diminishing.
My girls have been in the terrible twos for about a year now, but they are still so cute it's hard to ever get mad.
Shane and I went to check on them the other night, and they were both completely naked. I put Kate's pajama top back on, and she was barely awake, and when the shirt went over he head, she whispered "boo" at me.
Can't stay mad. It's terrible. Girls know exactly how to play their mommies and daddies!
